The universe is made up of repeating patterns.
As is our world & route to a life we want.
After you talk to enough successful people, read enough books on success and approach life with an open mind you realize that it's quite simple to achieve what you want in theory, what's most difficult is the implementation and execution. I'm building a library of frameworks & principles that the most happiest, fulfilled, wealthiest, and well experienced use to get what they want in their life. These are all principles that I have tried and tested and use in my life. Take a look - remember though it's the execution that yields results.
I'll continue to update this list as time goes on, this isn't a comprehensive list by any means but highlights some of the key frameworks I have come to implement in my life and find valuable.
Framework 1
Ikigai

We've heard it a million times from others and a billion times in our own head. What work should I do? This Japanese principle beautifully summaries 4 of the core components that one must consider when deciding. There are trade offs to every profession, some are extremely fulfilling but don't pay well, some you're really good at and get paid well for but offers no value to society. Ideally one finds a profession at the intersection of all 4, though it will take time, lots of trial and error and persistence.
What do you value most and are willing to give up or can't live without? No one can answer that for you but yourself.

Framework 2
Start with Why
Simon Sinek created the Golden Circle which outlines the sequence of steps we must act in to achieve fulfillment and success in anything we do. If you speak to most people today, they'll be able to tell you WHAT and HOW they do, but very few can tell you WHY they do it. Though similar to a home build on bad foundations, a career, a company, a relationship or anything else for that matter not built on a good reason won't last very long. Simon explains the value of good reasons and why it is imperative to first start with one when trying to build anything of value.

Framework 3
Happiness First
Since childhood people were always telling us to have a great life you need to work really hard, sacrifice a lot and then when you achieve a certain degree, job, house, family or other you'll be a big success and through that success you'll be very happy.
Neil Pasricha, author of the Happiness Equation offers an alternative perspective to this approach is to begin with happiness. When you're happy and doing something you enjoy, you'll work hard as a by product and that will bring the success which can be sustained. Once you know how to be happy, no matter what happens in your work, you'll be fine and bounce back.

Framework 4
Building & Modifying Habits
We are what we repeatedly do, day in and day out. Our habits dictate the way we react and act in almost every situation. Being in control and understanding how they are formed and modified empowers us to take action to intentionally develop good habits and modify existing bad ones. Charles Duhig in his book the power of habit goes into depth on these concepts.
Own your habits or your habits will own you.

Framework 5 SMARTER Goal Setting

Ever wonder why new years resolutions almost never work? There are a range of different reasons and evidence that explains, but one of the biggest is the fact that people sabotage themselves by not clearly defining or writing their goal. Michael Hyatt, Leadership and Productivity Guru's book 5 Days to your Best Year outlines the ultimate framework to stop sabotaging yourself.
"I want to lose weight" is not a goal, it's an aspiration or dream. "I want to make more money" is not a goal, it's an aspiration or dream.
When you use the SMARTER goal setting framework you set yourself up for success because you have constructed a goal out of the core elements that are needed.
Ex. I want to lose 10 lbs by 3 months from now by changing my eating habits to consume 2500 daily calories and exercising 3 times a week at the goodlife down the street. A combination of HIIT, Weights, and Yoga. - That's a goal.

Framework 6
5 Step-Process for getting what you want
Ray Dalio, hedgefund billionaire and philanthropist believes in a 5 step process to approach achieving any goal in his book "Principles". Once you have your Why, and your What (Goal set with SMARTER) you need the HOW to execute on it. He outlines the 5 phases of HOW as:
1. Goal Setting
2. Problems (Failures)
3. Learning why you failed/possible failures
4. Redesigning your approach to prevent the failure
5. Doing at Scale and Speed

Know your Biases

Our life experiences shape the way we see and interact with the world. We take on certain biases along the way that cloud our judgement and harm us from seeing the objective in a situation.
By understanding that we all have biases that influence our decision making, we can reflect to identify them and catch them when they could potentially harm us negatively.
